Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose
These terms govern sales made on the KENKONZ site between [[RAISON SOCIALE]] ("the seller") and any person making a purchase ("the customer"). Placing an order constitutes acceptance of these terms as they stand on that date.
2. Products
The essential characteristics of each item appear on its page. Photographs are as faithful as possible; a difference in colour rendering between screens cannot engage the seller's liability.
Offers are valid while items are shown as available. Should an item prove unavailable after ordering, the customer is informed and refunded in full within fourteen days.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in the currency chosen by the customer, inclusive of taxes where applicable, excluding delivery charges which are shown before checkout.
Depending on the destination, customs duties or import taxes may be due on receipt. These remain the customer's responsibility and are neither collected nor refunded by the seller.
The seller may change prices at any time; items are invoiced at the price displayed when the order was placed.
4. Orders
An order is firm once payment is confirmed. A summary email is sent to the address provided and serves as proof of the transaction.
The seller may refuse or cancel an order in the event of a prior payment dispute, suspected fraud, or an order that is plainly abnormal in quantity.
5. Payment
Payment is made using the methods shown at checkout. Card details neither pass through nor are stored by the seller: they are handled directly by the payment provider.
6. Delivery
Stated times are average preparation and transit times, excluding events beyond the seller's control. A tracking number is provided on dispatch.
It is the customer's responsibility to check their address. An order returned due to an incorrect address is re-shipped at the customer's expense.
Any damaged parcel must be reported within forty-eight hours of receipt, with photographs.
7. Right of withdrawal
Customers resident in a country recognising a right of withdrawal for distance selling — notably within the European Union — have fourteen days from receipt to withdraw without giving reasons. The refund is then made to the original payment method, within fourteen days of receiving the return.
This right does not apply to personalised items, nor to unsealed items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
Beyond that period, and for customers to whom this right does not apply, returns remain accepted under the conditions described on the Returns and exchanges page.
8. Warranties
The customer benefits from the legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects provided by the law applicable at their habitual residence. These warranties apply regardless of any commercial returns policy and at no cost to the customer.
9. Liability
The seller's liability shall not exceed the amount of the order concerned. It cannot be engaged for the use made of items after receipt, nor for indirect loss.
10. Personal data
Data processing is described in the privacy policy.
11. Disputes
In case of difficulty, write first to info@kenkonz.ca: most situations are settled this way. Failing agreement, the customer may use consumer mediation where their national law provides for it, before any legal action.
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the seller's registered office, without depriving the consumer of the mandatory protections of their country of residence.
